Who We Are

A foundation built on purpose, not profit.

We started as two Notre Dame students with a simple belief: great coffee can change lives. That belief became Addisuna Coffee Co, where 10% of every bag sold is set aside for impact beyond the cup.

To make that impact real and lasting, we also founded the Addisuna Youth Foundation as our 501(c)(3) nonprofit. It’s through this foundation that the work takes shape on the ground.

Right now, that work is focused on one place that needs it most: the Woliso Ejersa Kebele Public Library. Built in 1986, it has fallen into severe disrepair. This library serves four local schools and surrounding communities, yet it is no longer able to function as it should. We’re working to bring it back to life so students and families finally have access to the resources they deserve.

Current Project

The Woliso Library Revitalization

Site work is actively underway. Initial floor stabilization and sanitization are complete. The next phase covers electrical, security, and accessibility infrastructure.

Weatherproofing and Security
Complete removal of damaged roofing and gutters, plus a custom reinforced steel entrance gate and perimeter fence repairs. The building needs to be weather-tight before anything else can proceed.
Interior Overhaul
Repairing and re-plastering cracked walls inside and out, replacing broken windows, and installing ceramic tile across approximately 755 square meters of deteriorated flooring.
Electrical and Utilities
Total re-wiring to support 10 workstations, a solar-ready backup for continuous Wi-Fi, and new plumbing and sanitation. This is what makes 24-hour operation possible.
Accessibility and Collections
Entry ramps and tactile guidance for visually impaired students, 15 specialized tools including desktop magnifiers and Braille displays, academic texts, English-learning resources for the public, and Bibles.

Everything above, plus a VIP invitation to the Grand Opening in Woliso, Ethiopia and a complimentary travel stipend: one economy round-trip capped at $1,500, booked at least 60 days in advance. Donors may waive the stipend so 100% of the gift funds the library.
